10 Fictional Characters I wish were real and what I will tell them

Okay, this beyond doubt is the most ridiculous article I ever post in this blog, but I'm a true TV series and movie fan and I love these characters. They're widely known and certainly loved. I've been following their "lives" since the beginning (a.k.a first season) until now, I feel very connected to them. I understand that they're fictional but hey, fictions are often based on reality, right?
So this morning I had this funny idea, how if they were real. Like exist in this planet and I could meet them in person. I grabbed my smartphone and start to jot down my ten favorite fictional characters, plus my reasons to meet them. I also include the first sentence I'll say to them. Here we go.
1. Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. "Hi Dr. Cooper. I envy your brain!"
Okay, my friends have been telling me that I am naturally attracted to intelligent person because I'm an Aquarian. Despite Sheldon probably wouldn't care to such superstitious thi…

The Funny Things About Elections in Indonesia

First of all, I would like to congratulate Indonesia, my beloved country for finally able to commence concurrent election today for the first time ever! Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world and the fifth most populous country. We have over 13,000 islands and 260 billions citizen. Regardless any problems we had during the preparation, I'm proud that we did it! It's such a meaningful momentum of democracy in t his country. I've used my right to vote this morning. If you're Indonesian and reading this post, have you vote?
The aim of the process is to find the next true "negarawan" (statesmen) - public figures with inspiring leadership, sincere servitude and reliable capabilities. The official results will most likely be announced by late December and I do pray may the best candidates win. Indonesia is currently in the changing state towards global development and these true negarawan are indeed in "high demand".
This time I would like to sha…

Haters blog: Love it or hate it?

I found something interesting when did a Google search of the casts from The Big Bang Theory a couple days ago. Besides the fact that Wikipedia provides comprehensive information about the casts and the fictional characters they're playing (and many other related things too), a blog showed up and caught my attention. It was not a big dot com blog but it has extensive posts about celebrities. I will not share the blog's address here (on the ground it may incriminate me, LOL) but it was a blog about washed-up celebrities. Or maybe just celebrities the blog author thought no longer exist under the spotlight.
I read one post from the blog, about Mayim Bialik posted in 2011. For those who don't know her (seriously?) she portrayed my second favourite character from The Big Bang Theory: Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler. (Sheldon Cooper beyond doubt is my number one). The article discusses Bialik's career since her first debut in NBC's series Blossom in 1990. The author oddly pointed …

Playlist: My Favourite Christmas Carols

Are you guys counting? I hope you guys do because it's exactly 17 days before Christmas! It is so in the air. I can already hear Santa's sleigh's bell ringing from the pole. In the spirit of Christmas, I would like to share my current favorite Christmas songs. Some are classics the others are quite new. I know that it is a bit late, but I hope you guys enjoy it. Please do tell me if yours is in the list too!
1. All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

How can I explain this? Long before Mariah digged into RnB and wasted her vocal potential, she was a brilliant singer. I'm not a huge fan of her but more like an old timer since I enjoy her 90's songs. All I Want For Christmas is beyond doubt a must-played song in every house celebrating Christmas. Mariah's mind-blowing pitch, brewed in cheerful beats and wrapped by the lovely touch of bell rings is the absolute recipe to become one of the most beloved Christmas anthem.
2. Love is Christmas - Sara Bareilles

Google+ Just Surprised Me!

Of course people recognize that name today. It probably not as popular as its big blue brothers but it absolutely is on the game. I think Google+ was not that popular back in 2010 when it was firstly launched.
Back in 2011, I was excited to see Google+ emerged on the ranks of social media. At that time, me - and obviously Google itself - thought that G+ could be the next big thing like Facebook and Twitter (Instagram was not lauched yet). I made my account, played with it for a while and after two months, forgot about it. The reason simply because I found G+ rather boring compared to the other two social media. Despite of huge campaigns Google made to promote it, I found that people considered G+ was not worth their time and decided to switch back to Facebook, as I did.
I understood the reason. As the new kid on the block, Google Plus had this new, sophisticated interface. It took me quite a while to understand how G+ works. This factor was probably one of the reason people found consid…
