Britney Spears "Hold It Against Me"

Damn It’s Hot!
Super hot, new releases singles and albums reviews by Ray Moniaga

It’s Britney, b*tch! 2 years after “Circus”, there’s been a world tour, 2 massive #1 hits on Hot 100, new man and finally, new single! Miss Britney Spears is ready to kill the lights one more time with a new hard-beat record, titled “Hold It Against Me”. The single is prepared for the upcoming-still untitled album that will be released on March. Quick catch, the title reminds me of her notable record with Madonna, ‘Me Against The Music’. However, it has nothing to do with the material girl at all. Brit didn’t even collaborate with another singer or rapper on her song this time, and the effort to let those plain bars right in the middle of the song with nothing but her “moaning” and “kissing-sound” instead of rap lyrics really pays off. Unless, it’s gonna be another stereotype record.

I have to agree with Perez Hilton, said the demo record sounds like Kesha, and hoping the finished version will be more sound like Britney. Sorry, it doesn’t fully succeed. I can taste a glimpse of Kesha ‘Take It Off’ on verses, but the flavor on bridge and chorus is very Britney. After all, this record is still amazing, edgy, killing, pumping and seducing. She really back on track and she mean it this time. I quote a question from chorus: “If I said I want your body now, would you hold it against me?” well baby, who doesn’t? And maybe, just maybe Britney could launch a new fragrance called “Hazeeyyy”.
